Aurora Gallery’s Show of Mini-Works

What a great idea–the Aurora Gallery in Vancouver is featuring small pieces of art that would make excellent affordable holiday gifts in their gallery this month!

Through the end of November, Aurora Gallery will be running their Mini-Works show as a way to give buyers the opportunity to give the gift of fine art without having to make a huge investment.  A great way to introduce a new artist to a friend or loved one (or bring a piece home for yourself, we won’t tell!)

If you missed the Audobon Society Wild Arts Festival, you still have an opportunity to see some of Ann’s bird pieces.  These paintings on glass were inspired by prints from scientific texts, then fused and slumped in the kiln to give texture and shape to the glass background, making a truly special wall hanging.  They are currently available at the Aurora Gallery!

Ann has also created several small fused glass landscapes, framed for easy display, for the mini-works show.

Aurora Gallery offers a great selection of fine art from local artists, as well as a full custom framing gallery, with the most comprehensive custom framing options in the region!  Check the website for featured framing projects and special offers.
