Ann has just added a Fused Glass Landscape class to the offerings at the TAW Gallery in Tumalo, Oregon (near Bend). This class is for beginners with some experience working with glass. SOME GLASS EXPERIENCE IS RECOMMENDED.
This class allows for students to explore the creation of thick landscape pieces using a variety of techniques and materials. Students should bring or will select a landscape photo to inspire their work. Students will create an 8×10 inch piece. We are only having ONE class this winter with Ann!! It will be on Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 10:30am to 4:30pm. The cost for this class is $275.00 and includes instruction, firing & materials.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Ann Cavanaugh
Internationally known, Ann Cavanaugh has been working with glass for over 30 years. First making leaded stained glass and now making fused glass. Her work can be seen throughout Washington and Oregon. She has been solely making fused glass landscapes & statements since 2004. Instinctively drawn to nature, her work reflects that in her fused glass pieces from realistic snowy woods scenes to abstract pieces of urban energy.
