DragonFire Gallery’s Chinese New Year Celebration

Did you know?  2013 is the Year of the Snake in the Chinese calendar.  DragonFire Gallery in Cannon Beach, Oregon is celebrating Chinese New Year on February 16th, 2013, and Ann created a special piece just for the event.

Inspired by the slithering curves as a snake’s body wends its way across the land, Ann created this double-sided piece, slumped into an elegant “S” shape.

The piece measures 8.5 inches tall and 21 inches long, with a thickness of 3/4 inch.  Because of its curving shape, it does not require a stand to be displayed.  The piece is available for purchase at DragonFire Gallery.

You can celebrate the Chinese New Year in style with DragonFire Gallery on February 16th and see Ann’s new work in person!  Ann is excited about the upcoming events at DragonFire this spring, including her role as a featured artist at this year’s Spring Unveiling in May.

More information about the event can be found on DragonFire’s website!
