Ann is excited to take part in the Symphony of Color art show with the City of Gresham’s Art Committee. This show features local and regional artists whose work epitomizes the theme. According to the literature:
This show will highlight the way we make colors move, like in a symphony in the sound music makes as it moves us, or as the conductor moves his hands and arms to make the music work together to create a masterpiece. The same way our brush strokes move freely and rhythmically in our artwork. In the way
the sunset colors move and flow together with such beautiful rhythm, or the way a dancer moves or an animal runs or a whale swims and dances in the ocean with that beautiful rhythm of movement and flow. We truly want a Symphony of Colors for this show, in all types of mediums.
Ann has four pieces on display for this show, including Red Waterfall, which is featured in the City of Gresham’s poster shown below.
All pieces shown are available for sale, and there will be an artist’s reception on June 25th from 5:30 – 7:00 at the City of Gresham Visual Arts Gallery, 1333 NW Eastman Parkway, Gresham, OR 97030.
Here’s a sneak peek at Ann’s pieces for this show–stop by the Visual Arts Gallery between now and August 1st for a look at her work in person, and to see what the other artists have on offer.
